Mike started working in his family's roofing and sheet metal business in 1976. Through hands-on-experience he developed knowledge in all aspects of the trade: laborer, tradesman, superintendent, estimating, and sales. Upon graduation from Ohio University in 1981, Mike worked for several major roofing contractors until 1988. He then became a partner in Ahner/Phinney Industrial Roofing, now know as Phinney Industrial Roofing, Inc. The company specializes in reroofing difficult projects, and has steadily grown in capability and customer base under Mike's management.
